OnePlus Ace 5 Leaks: Display and Design

The OnePlus Ace 5 is rumored to feature a large 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. This display will support a 120Hz refresh rate, giving users smooth and clear visuals. The LTPO technology helps adjust the refresh rate as needed, saving battery life.

The phone will also have a metal frame for durability and a premium feel. Unlike the OnePlus 13 model, which features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, the Ace 5 will come with an optical fingerprint scanner, keeping costs down while maintaining functionality.

Performance, Battery & Charging

Powering the OnePlus Ace 5 will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This chipset is expected to handle heavy tasks smoothly, from gaming to multitasking. The Ace 5 will come with a large 6500mAh battery, offering extended usage. Additionally, the phone will support 100W fast wired charging, allowing for quick power-ups when needed.

The Pro variant, called the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, may come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, providing even more power. However, the Pro version could have a slightly smaller battery capacity, between 6200mAh and 6300mAh.

Camera Setup and Expected Pricing

The camera system on the OnePlus Ace 5 will include three rear sensors. It will have a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens for detailed close-up shots. The Pro version might add a telephoto camera, allowing users to zoom in with clarity.

For pricing, OnePlus has not confirmed details yet. However, with the standard model expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R, the price could be in the mid-range segment in India. OnePlus typically prices its Ace series competitively, so this model might follow that pattern.

The OnePlus Ace 5 leaks suggest a well-rounded smartphone. The December launch in China is eagerly awaited, with the India release, likely as the OnePlus 13R, expected in January 2025. With its rumored pricing, OnePlus fans in India can look forward to an affordable yet feature-rich option that balances performance, design, and usability.
