AI Assistant in the Settings App
Windows 11 now includes a helpful AI agent. This smart assistant is inside the Settings app. You do not need to search using keywords anymore.
Just type your issue in simple words. For example, say “My mouse is too small.†The assistant will suggest helpful settings. It may even change settings for you.
This tool understands natural language commands. So you don’t need to know exact settings names. It’s made to reduce confusion and save your time.
The tool is currently only on Copilot+ PCs. These use Snapdragon chips for better AI use. Support for Intel and AMD PCs is coming soon. You also need to set English as the main language.
Click To Do Feature for Fast Text Actions
Another new feature is called “Click To Do.” This tool helps you work faster with written text. You can select any text with ten or more words. Then use a shortcut like Win + click or Win + Q. The AI will show quick options to change the text.
You can rewrite, summarize, or turn text into bullets. These tasks are done by a small AI called Phi Silica. It works directly on your device, not online. This keeps your data private and gives fast results. This feature works on Snapdragon, Intel, and AMD Copilot+ PCs. However, the rewrite tool doesn’t yet work in French or Spanish.
FAQ and Other Helpful Updates
Microsoft also updated the Settings app’s FAQ section. You can find it under System > About. It now has better answers to common PC problems. This saves you from long online searches. You can get quick help without leaving the Settings app.
Another useful change is for connected devices. Windows 11 can now better manage lights and hardware. This helps when you switch keyboards, mice, or other tools. It also lowers the risk of losing data during those times. These small updates make Windows more stable and smart.
Microsoft has added new AI features to Windows 11. These updates show Microsoft’s focus on smart technology. The AI agent and text tools make daily use easier. They help users find answers and work faster.
While only a few PCs can use them now, more support is coming. With natural language and smart tools, Windows 11 is becoming better. It’s a big step toward a more helpful PC experience.
